Seven pieces, and they split into two jobs: belts that hold something up, and waist chains that are purely decorative. The chain styles sit on the hip or the natural waist over a dress and are not structural, which is worth knowing before buying one to hold a pair of jeans.
Most are adjustable, and the reviews are worth reading on that point — one notes that on a chain belt the decorative circles do not run the whole way round, with the back half being plain chain.
